Flor studied piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Boyan Vodenitcharov and Hans Ryckelynck. He regularly took courses and master classes with renowned musicians as soloist, chamber musician and Lieder accompanist. As a song accompanist, he was selected for the International Udo Reinemann Liedmasterclass. During this intense specialisation year, he was taught by world-renowned pedagogues and artists such as Anne Sofie von Otter, Julius Drake, Dietrich Henschel and many others. He works intensively with bass-baritone Werner Van Mechelen and soprano Emma Posman. Besides his own projects, he is a much sought-after freelance artist and regularly plays along on piano and celesta with Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, among others. He is a storyteller and regularly gives lectures, introductions and interviews on classical music at, among others, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, Flagey, Bozar, Belgian National Orchestra and Radio Klara.
